Property Details

This property is a three-bedroomed holiday home with a large communal pool, tropical garden and stunning seaviews over the most unspoilt coastline of the mediterranean. It offers easy access to various historical sites and areas of natural beauty as well as numerous restaurants. The accommodation is only 100 meters walking from the seaside and approximately 4 km from the charming and friendly town of Kas. It is situated at the Çukurbag Peninsula of Kas.

The accommodation:
The ground floor consists of an open plan living area (with x 2 sofa/day beds) / open fire place / radio/cd player / dining area / fully fitted kitchen (including gas hob, oven, large fridge/freezer). The living room gives acces to its own terrace with table & chairs and garden. There is a bathroom with shower, toilet, wash basin and washing/clothes machine on this floor.

A staircase leads to the first floor which contains three double bedrooms and the second bathroom. The masterbedroom has a kingsize bed, airco, large balcony with stunning views over the Greek island Castellórizo and clear waters of the mediterranean. The second bedroom has two single beds, airco and seaviews. The third bedroom has a bunk bed and view over the Taurus mountains. A babycot (50x100 cm)is available. All windows have mosquito netting.

Outdoors, there is a large freshwater pool with sunbeds and parasols, tropical garden, several terrace areas and two barbecues. These facilities are shared with seven other apartment/cottages.

Area Description

The historic town of Kas is situated on Turkeys gorgeous Lycian Coast and was once a simple Turkish/Greek fishing village. Today Kas is quietly sophisticated and postcard pretty with a few good quality low-rise hotels and a multitude of excellent restaurants offering all manner of culinary delights, together with a good selection of stylish and atmospheric turkish, blues and jazz bars. Unlike some other Turkish coastal resorts, Kas main economy derives from tourism and consequently, its inhabitants put much effort and pride into the town\\\'s historic preservation. The town has retained its charm and special ambience. The wonderful hospitality of the Kas people is another reason why the first-time visitor invariably returns time after time.

The village shops stay open until around midnight and are well stocked with interesting antiques, crafts, jewellery, carpets and clothing. In the teagarden

During the day, you can make use of one of the many beach clubs, visit the local market (friday) engage in some of the local sporting activities (such as water-skiing, paragliding, scuba diving, trekking, snorkling, canyoning, rafting, seakayaking etc), take a trip to one of the historical sites or areas of natural beauty, like Xanthos, Letoon, Patara of Myra&Demre, drive a jeep up into the mountains, cruise on a gulet for one or more days or simply relax by your pool.

There are several banks with a cash dispenser in the village as well as a post office. Credit Cards, Sterling and Euro\\\'s as well as Turkish Lira are widely accepted in most of the towns shops and restaurants.

Transport

A car would be useful
There is a regular Dolmus (minibus) service (50pence) into and from Kas plus good public taxi service. By walking it will take about 40 minutes from down town.
